The Aeronautical Information Publication contains a wealth of information specific to the UK, including a section (AD) which covers every licensed aerodrome where you can find information such as joining procedures, opening times, contact number and airfield plates for airfields you plan to visit

This site will take you to the F215 (low level forecast) and F215 (spot wind forecast) charts. Look under "Briefing Charts" after you log in. Also a source of TAF's and METAR's
Met Office Interactive Weather Map
This map includes the rainfall radar which shows current precipitation and a forecast over the next several hours and days
A very rich (and free) source of weather information including forecast cloud base, wind at different altitudes, and precipitation. It does take a while to learn your way around the site, but well worth the effort.
You can find TAF's and METAR's on Windy - enable the "Airports" option, then click on an airfield to see forecast and a tab which includes current METAR and TAF
